Also, open comment apparently used to be a more peaceful and gentler space.

This year, Carr says, "almost every comment speaker has been angry. That used to not be the case."

This @tiktok_us video promoting violence against Jews has been up for nearly 24 hours.

Hundreds, if not thousands, of reports later it’s still there.

God frickin dammit @TikTokSupport this is outrageous but I guess it's after 7pm pacific time so no action on this until tomorrow morning, I suppose. 😖

@amandadeibert In high school, PA system announcement said I was elected class president. Teacher laughed & chided us about how embarrassing it was to have “a girl” as class pres. Ruined moment. Luckily I had a dad who told me & sis we could do/be anything we wanted long before that was cool.

Read what Jeffrey Clark and the former President conspired to do.

It’s a crime under 18 USC § 595 for a federal employee to use “his official authority for the purpose of interfering with, or affecting, the nomination or the election of any candidate for the office of President”

The only reason not to wait any longer for a senate trial to convict is that, with every passing day, we learn about a new seditious crime. There may eventually be so many impeachable offenses that it might take until the heat death of the universe to convict for them all

The always lovable @SenSanders at the ceremony for the Hero of Spielburg, circa 1989. I don't think he's changed much in these 32 years.
@Hero_Lori @HeroCorey - I hope you two appreciate this addition to the scene!

We've been handed a copy of the TUCOWS site before its closure. Thanks for reaching out to us, TUCOWS. For the curious, the software moved from Winsock Software to Windows software, and DOS/Previous OSes drifted off, so this is relatively modern. It's about 200gb/54,000 files.

"Secure your identity before it's gone!" banner FTW😂

The torrent of new information about his misconduct in the final weeks is just beginning. It will not be possible to just move on. And conviction by the Senate is all the more important.

Setting aside for a moment the fact that the "Benson Center for the Study of Western Civilization" is centered around bigotry and racism, and is an embarrassment to the university, CU needs to fire this prof now or risk looking like they support overthrowing a legitimate gov't

His @cuboulder employment contract requires him "to affirm, in writing, that he will support the constitutions of the United States and of Colorado" according to the story.

I think making pro-sedition speeches right before an insurrection against the congress violates that term.

Eastman, a visiting professor currently working at @CUBoulder, is a professor whose classes were cancelled for low enrollment, and was summarily fired by his "home" college after he made pro-sedition comments. His employment term ends in May and is non-tenure track.

#CUBoulder removes speaking, other duties from visiting Prof. John Eastman on Thursday while he retains his $185k salary. Received this info from campus officials along with Eastman's employment contract and salary, which I CORA'd:

John Eastman is said to be "exploring all options"

Maybe the first option he should explore is to return to his previous position, living under a rock in a bog, and never return.

An unusual but not surprising warning from Russia's National Computer Incident Response & Coordination Center about potential cyber attacks against critical information infrastructure in Russia — in light of accusations & threats from the U.S. & its allies

These are actually pretty good generic advice for anyone, but it's also kind of silly to see the petulant tone Russia takes when it whines about being accused of attacks against the US and other countries.

Maybe you wouldn't be accused if you got out of the cyberattack biz
