A Seattle Police officer was recently fired after referring to a black person as Kunta Kinte. The local hate group is taking it pretty hard. These people are truly incredible. The Cardi B lyrics really push it over the top.

Spoke to a young man in Queens yesterday who was struggling with the end of a long-term relationship. He was 22. I told him that he had a ton to look forward to and that the intensity decreases over time. It does. And he does.

I'm an ER Nurse in Seattle. Last night @SeattlePD officers came to the ER to obtain a statement from an assault patient. One officer, Eric Whitehead, blatantly refused to put a mask on while standing in a high-traffic hallway. There were covid positive pts in nearby rooms. 1/

So Biden’s $15 minimum wage comes out to $31,200 a year for a 40 hour work week. The starting salary for a beginning teacher in Texas is $33,660. So a person working a minimum wage job will be making almost the same as a teacher with a college degree. Does this make any sense? 🤷♂️

Anyone remember Michael Yon, one of the more rabid Iraq war hawks back in the day? Yeah, he says the Capitol siege was an Antifa false flag operation.

Personally I only want to hear from people I agree with so that I am completely caught off guard when my bubble is punctured by the reality of what others care about. I find it keeps life exciting to always be at risk of not knowing what the fuck is happening around me.

The fetishization of "puncturing your bubble" is so weird.
Intellectual development comes from listening to a wide range of *honest* actors. Hearing out racist grifters and conspiracy theorists isn't meaningful diversity of thought.

Believing in QAnon doesn’t make you mentally ill, but I don’t think we should pretend it’s an equal opportunity phenomenon and not a direct result of anti-intellectualism and racism

People keep attempting to otherize QAnon adherents as inherently dumb, low class, and automatically mentally ill.
Radicalization can affect anyone, especially those longing for identity or answers in a difficult time.
I can’t imagine I’m alone in that every family member, HS classmate, etc. I’ve seen fall into QAnon are ppl who come as little surprise. It’s cousins who believed in Birtherism and coworkers who uncritically shared weird and inaccurate FB posts without fact checking long before Q
